Race course

Oravaman XTRI Solo Point Five follows the philosophy and standards of XTRI World Tour®. It´s an extreme triathlon on a shorter distance and  unsupported.

2 km swim, 86 km bike, 19,5 km run / 3100 m elevation

The race combines swimming with demanding bike course and challenging half marathon. Race course video (here).

On the bike athletes face severeal climbs with maximum of 12 % including passing the pass Huty three times. During the 86 km they gain 1850 m of elevation. The transition is situated in the picteresque Penzión Pribiskô, which is the homestay of the race for the whole weekend..

After the bike athletes will complete a half marathon with 1250 m of elevation. It is a trail run with demanding 7,7 km long ascent where athletes run up to 1902 m.a.s.l. From the summit of Brestová there is a hard descent  which requieres lot of concetration. After completing more than 100 km of the race course with 3100 m of elevation, athletes will get to the finishline at pension Pribiskô.

The race is aimed for experienced athletes who are searching for a fair-play triathlon with hard course and unique familiar treatment. Oravaman XTRI Solo Point Five follows the rules and standards on the XTRI World Tour®.

In 2026 we will host 330 athletes on the main course.

Organization of Oravaman is very hard and requieres lot of preparation during the whole year. It can sound bit harsh, but please read carefuly all the Race Manual before you sign up for the race. We will be very strictly in all points of the rules and time schedule and no exceptions can be done.

The XTRI Solo Point Five race is unsported. There are 2 a self-support refreshment points on the bike , in T2 and 2 on the run.  Athlete must carry a mandatory running backpack with mandatory equipment and 1 l of water.
If athlete wants some water, iont or banana on the bike, he can stop at our refreshment point at Koliba Holica, where he can fill his botlles with water or iont. There will be a refreshment at T2 at Penzion Pribiskô. Athlete must waer a mandatory backpack for the run with: 1L of drink, jacket, buff/headband, mobile phone, at least 1 gel/snack.
On the run there will be 1 refreshmet at parking of the ski-resort Spálená (10th km of the run after descending from Brestová) and 1 at Museum of Orava Village (17th km).

Rules and regulations

To mantain the quality and originality of the race, it is important that athletes, their friends and families understand the race philosophy and the importance of the rules. The race logistics is very demanding so it is essential to establish basic rules, regulations and instructions. Before you decide to sign up for the race, we kindly ask you to read next lines carefuly. Reading, understanding and following the RACE MANUAL is mandatory to all, who would like to take part at Oravaman. Once the athlete signs up for the race and pays the entry fee he agrees with race rules and regulations, no changes nor excuses can be made. That´s why read the Race Manual carefuly, before you decide to sign up for the race.

  • 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – personaly handover of mandatory running equipment – placing the bag for run on the bag wall with numbered hooks

Saturday, July 12th

  • 5:00 a.m.5:10 a.m. – bus boarding at Penzión Pribiskô (only athletes)
  • 6:00 a.m. – arrival of the athletes by bus
  • 6:50 a.m. – closing of T1
  • 7:00 a.m. – START of Oravaman XTRI Solo Point Five
  • 12:30 p.m.STOP TIME at Penzión Pribiskô – T2
  • 12:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. – meal for athletes – lunch (tickets in race package)
  • 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. – Oravaman XTRI Solo Point Five FINISHER T-shirt delivery
  • 6:30 p.m. – statement of results
  • 6:55 p.m. – FINISHER PHOTO Oravaman XTRI Solo Point Five 2026
  • 7:00 p.m. – Oravaman Afterparty (live music)

The time schedule will be strictly followed by organizers. No excuses will be accepted.
